Manel Mal Movement implements "Jayodaya Ranagosha"

The Manel Mal Movement implemented a successful project "Jayodaya Ranagosha" on 30th August 2008, to motivate the people of this country to assist the security forces personnel in the battle front. Many were those who contributed items to be gifted to the soldiers in the front lines during this project. The items thus collected were taken to Vavuniya on 20th September 2008 and handed over to the Security Forces deployed in the front lines, an official of MMM said.

Manel Mal Movement also collected dry rations for the innocent Tamil people who are now escaping from the clutches of the despot Prabhakaran and making their way to the government controlled areas. These dry rations were handed over to the Civil Affairs Officer of the 21 Brigade at Cheddikulam for distributing among these innocent Tamil civilians. Further, it made an assessment of the future requirements for the innocent Tamils now steadily making their way into government controlled areas from un-liberated areas, where the Security Forces are engaging in a humanitarian operation against LTTE terrorism, an official of MMM added.
